Abstract:
Abnormal pH levels in boiler feedwater of chemical plants is a critical issue affecting the safe and stable operation of boilers. This primarily stems from contaminated raw water, failures of water treatment system, malfunctions of dosing system, and improper operations. To address pH anomalies, emergency measures (e. g., adjusting blowdown, optimising chemical dosing, and equipment maintenance) are required to rapidly restore water quality. For a long-term improvement, solutions should involve upgrading water treatment systems, intelligent chemical dosing, and optimising operational parameters. Preventive management involves establishing water quality monitoring systems, formulating equipment maintenance schedules, and enhancing staff training and emergency drills. These measures elevate boiler operational safety and economic efficiency, making water quality management more precise and intelligent.
