Abstract:
This study thoroughly examines the application of horizontal screw-discharge sedimentation centrifuges in Shell gasification plants and their troubleshooting. With the widespread application of Shell gasification technology, these centrifuges serve as critical equipment whose operational stability and efficiency directly impact the overall performance of gasification plants. The paper touches upon the mechanism and structure of the centrifuge, and details its practical application in Shell gasification units. By collecting and analyzing operational data, potential fault types and causes during centrifuge operation are identified. A series of effective troubleshooting methods and prevention measures are proposed, whose practicality and feasibility are validated through typical troubleshooting case studies. This research not only enhances the operational efficiency and stability of horizontal screw-discharge sedimentation centrifuges in Shell gasification plants but also provides valuable reference for troubleshooting and maintenance of such equipment. It holds significance for the safe and efficient operation of gasification plants.
