Abstract: A series of problems occurred in the operation of the low-temperature methanol washing unit, such as excessive H2S content, high pressure difference of feed gas final cooler, and ammonia evaporator leakage. In this paper, the reasons behind such occurrences are analyzed, and feasible solutions are proposed to ensure normal operation of the unit, achieving remarkable effects.
