Abstract: The working principle, structural characteristics and performance test, etc. of the flame arrester are introduced in this paper. Based on the analysis of the development and application of the process design and type selection of flame arresters, methods on selecting safe, reliable and economically rational flame arresters with excellent performance in the process of VOCs treatment are put forward for reference.
