Abstract:

Numerical simulation technology has been extensively applied in reactor development and process optimization. This paper focuses on the adiabatic fixed-bed process of methanation, reviewing advancements in reactor computational models and simulation studies. It compares the characteristics of adiabatic fixed-bed and temperature-controlled fixed-bed technologies, while outlining future development trends for methanation reactors.
